Gdańsk

Gdańsk is a city on the Baltic coast of northern Poland.  It is the capital and largest city of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and one of the most prominent cities within the cultural and geographical region of Kashubia. It is Poland’s principal seaport and the centre of the country’s fourth-largest metropolitan area.

One of the attractions of the Polish coast is the 130-meter pier in Gdańsk-Brzeźno – a popular place for enjoying a rest, both for the residents of Gdańsk and for tourists. It is estimated that at the peak of the season the beach near Brzeźno is visited by 50 thousand people a day.
